It is easier to maintain than the reel mower. They run on either gas or electricity. The electric ones come with a rechargeable battery.
Robotic mowers
For those who love a touch of technology in everything can choose this type of lawn mower. These types of mowers do cut grass by themselves. They can cut large areas of grass. The most important thing one can do is put up a wire border to help the robotic mower detect the area to be cleaned. Some of them are also self-docking. Some also come with a rain detection ability which minimizes our need while cutting the grass. They are suitable for cleaning large chunks of lawns like the golf courses, and they are the most preferred for such businesses.
Hover mower
These types of mowers have a hovering design. They have a rotating blade just like the rotary mowers. The main difference is that they have a cushion of air which propels the blade. They are suitable for cleaning lawns that are uneven and also the corners that are hard to reach. They are meant for places having steep slopes, have many weeds are also at waterfronts. They are also a preferred choice for the golf courses and the commercial mowers.
